Basic Cable

Basic Cable is a tribute band focused on the golden era of MTV – that is, we play popular and fun 80s music. 

We are a four-piece band featuring both male and female lead vocals, covering a wide spectrum of musical styles from the 80s, including pop, new wave, rock, punk, & hard rock, bringing the 80s to life at each show.  Artists covered include Madonna, Billy Idol, Duran Duran, Van Halen, Twisted Sister, a-ha, The Go-Gos, Simple Minds, Cyndi Lauper, and many more. 

Our energetic band has a reputation for bringing the fun and getting everyone to sing along and dance the night away. In fact, we've been called people's "guilty pleasure band", which we take as a compliment.
